Community Guidelines

Last updated: April 6, 2026

Welcome to Quest

Quest is built around curiosity, play, and real connection. We want every person here to feel safe, respected, and free to be themselves. These guidelines exist to help make that possible. They're not a list of rules for the sake of rules — they're how we take care of each other.

1. Be Authentic

Use your real name and genuine photos. No catfishing, fake profiles, or impersonation. The best connections start with honesty — so be who you actually are. You're interesting enough, we promise.

2. Respect Others

Treat everyone with kindness and respect. There is zero tolerance for harassment, bullying, threats, hate speech, or discrimination of any kind — including but not limited to race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or age. We're all here looking for connection. Lead with empathy.

3. Keep It Safe

Don't share personal information — like your phone number, home address, or financial details — until you're truly comfortable and have built trust with someone. Be cautious when meeting in person: choose public places, let a friend know your plans, and always trust your instincts.

4. Consent Matters

All interactions on Quest must be consensual. Respect boundaries — always. If someone isn't interested, accept it gracefully and move on. No means no, and silence doesn't mean yes. This is non-negotiable.

5. Protect Privacy

Don't screenshot or share private conversations without the other person's consent. Don't post anyone's personal information. What happens on Quest stays on Quest — respect the privacy of everyone in our community.

6. No Explicit Content

Keep your profile photos and messages appropriate. No nudity, sexually explicit content, or graphic material. Quest is about getting to know people — let's keep the focus on connection, not content that makes others uncomfortable.

7. Be Honest with Rumi

Rumi, our AI matchmaker, works best when you're genuine. Don't try to manipulate or trick the AI — use it as it's intended: to help you find and connect with people in a meaningful way. The more real you are with Rumi, the better your experience will be.

8. One Account, One You

Each person gets one account. Don't create multiple accounts or share your account with others. It's that simple.

9. Follow the Law

Don't use Quest for anything illegal. No solicitation, trafficking, fraud, or promotion of illegal substances. This platform is for building real human connections — nothing else.

10. Report Problems

If you encounter behavior that violates these guidelines or makes you feel unsafe, please report it immediately — either through the app or by emailing support@thequestapp.co. We take every report seriously, and we'll never penalize you for speaking up.

11. Meeting In Person

When you're ready to take a connection offline, keep these safety tips in mind:

  • Always meet in a public place for the first few dates
  • Tell a friend or family member where you're going
  • Arrange your own transportation
  • Stay sober and alert
  • Trust your instincts — if something feels wrong, leave
  • Never feel pressured to go somewhere private

Your safety always comes first. There's no rush.

12. Consequences

Violations of these guidelines may result in warnings, temporary suspension, or permanent removal from Quest. Serious violations — including threats, illegal activity, or exploitation — may be reported to law enforcement. We may also take action for off-platform behavior that affects the safety or well-being of the Quest community.

We don't enjoy enforcing consequences, but we will when it matters. Keeping this community safe is something we take personally.
